Plas-Tech Windows in Morecambe now credits 25 per cent of its business to plastic roofline products from Kestrel.
The company, which opened its trade counter in 1994, has recently switched to the UPVC roofline products manufacturer, which its MD Bob Tyers said had helped Plas-Tech Windows reach out to new markets.
“We changed supplier and started stocking Kestrel plastic roofline and Kayflow rainwater goods earlier this year and we are already seeing good growth in that side of the business,” Mr Tyers said.
“The quality of products on offer and competitive pricing has helped us move into new markets. For instance, Kestrel has been registered with the local authority and so this means that we supply them with UPVC roofline and our teams can carry out installations.”
Plas-Tech Windows, which serves a large geographical area from Kendal in the north through to Garstang, Lancashire in the south, has built an enviable reputation for customer service and estimates that 90 per cent of its business comes from referrals and recommendations.
With customer service at the centre of Plas-Tech Windows’ business, Mr Tyers added that it was important that his suppliers were able to offer a similar level of service.
Stephen Malkin, the UPVC roofline and cladding manufacturer’s business development manager for the North West, congratulated Plas-Tech Windows on its growth.
“Plas-Tech Windows has a busy trade counter that is well-known in the Lancashire area and we are delighted that they have made the switch to Kestrel products,” he said.
“Both the installation and trade counter aspects of the business are very well-established and have been operating for more than 21 years, so it is particularly good to hear that Kestrel products are helping the company access new markets.”
Plas-Tech Windows is selling and installing the full range of Kestrel products, including the Kayflow rainwater goods, through its site at White Lund Road. The company also has a second branch in Fines, southern Spain supplying and installing rainwater, conservatories, windows and doors.
