When popular tourist attraction Isle of Wight Pearl needed a fresh new look that would withstand the harsh elements of the English Channel, UPVC textured cladding Kavex was a natural choice.
Established in 1988, the Isle of Wight Pearl building faces the coast and needs to maintain its kerb appeal for the thousands of annual visitors who come to see the largest collection of pearl jewellery in the UK.
Island Windows of neighbouring Sandown undertook the refurbishment using light grey Kavex textured UPVC cladding to decorate, insulate and protect the building.
Island Windows manager, Bruce Rogers, said: “We have used Kavex UPVC cladding previously on many projects so we were confident that it would deliver what the customer needed in terms of appearance and with-standing the elements.
“Kavex anti-capillary grooves help with weather-proofing, which is a must for coastal buildings.
“It’s also an easy system to install with a great range of matching trims. The buildings now have a fresher, uniform and more contemporary look.”
Kestrel’s Kavex textured cladding is available in a range of five colours with a choice of either shiplap or feather edge profile.
Kestrel sales and marketing director Simon Reynolds added: “Kavex UPVC textured cladding is particularly popular because it provides a classic, timeless look which appeals to clients like Isle of Wight Pearl.
“Not only has it given the building a welcomed face-lift, but will also protect it from any changeable coastal weather conditions.”
