Cecil established Ayrshire Agencies with his wife Valerie in 1994, the company is a long-standing Kestrel customer.
Kestrel’s Regional Sales Director for the North, John Gunn, had a working relationship with Cecil that spanned many years.
John said: “Although we met through business, we managed to enjoy many an hour together on the golf course. Cecil was great company and had a wonderful sense of humour, but most of all I will remember him as a true gentleman. He will be very sadly missed.”
Cecil leaves behind his wife Valerie, sons Colin and David, daughters Caroline, Lynda-Jane and Emma along with 10 grandchildren.
Ayrshire Agencies manufactures conservatories, and aluminium glazing products and has a popular trade counter. The company will continue to be led by Cecil’s son David Wilson.
