Motorbike enthusiast Mitch Allen is revved up for his new role as Kestrel Business Development Manager for East Anglia and North London, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in his career.
Mitch, who has two decades of experience in the building products industry under his belt, explained why he felt ready to shift gears into his new role at Kestrel.
Having spent the last 10 years in sales roles, he has developed a keen understanding of customer needs, and that focus is what led him to Kestrel.
Mitch said: “Kestrel has built a reputation on quality and reliability, and having joined the team, it’s easy to see why.
“There’s a wealth of knowledge in the business, which everyone is happy to share, coupled with new ideas, and a focus on continuous improvement, and that makes it a really exciting team to join.”
Mitch’s journey in the building products industry began when he was a teenager, with work experience in a local builder’s merchant. What started as a part-time job evolved into an apprenticeship, laying the groundwork for his professional journey.
His expertise grew over the years, culminating in a specialised role in bricks, where he fine-tuned his skills in sales and customer engagement.
Outside of work, Mitch finds adventure on the open road, and enjoys exploring new destinations on regular motorbike tours with friends.
He also loves live music and spends part of his summers volunteering at leading festivals such as Reading and Download.
Jonathan Boland, Sales Director at Kestrel, explained that Mitch’s experience and focus on customer service would make him a welcome addition to the business development team.
“As Mitch embarks on this new chapter with Kestrel, his wealth of experience, customer-centric approach, and dedication to building connections promise to be real assets,” Jonathan said.
“With Mitch on board, our customers in East Anglia and North London can rely on us to continue providing top-notch service across the region.”
