Leading UPVC building products brand, Kestrel, is making significant investments at its Scunthorpe factory to improve its offering to customers.
This investment spans across the manufacturing of its roofline range, the introduction of an innovative gutter balloon, and improvements to Kestrel’s injection moulding facilities.
Scott Sinclair, Head of Operations for Kestrel, emphasised the company’s dedication to innovation and quality.
“Kestrel’s customers rely on us to innovate new products and ensure our existing range is manufactured to the highest possible standards.
“This investment is part of Kestrel’s commitment to continuous improvement to make sure that our customers get the quality products they need when they need them,” Scott added.
The investment includes new tooling and injection moulding machinery, which has led to significant improvements in energy efficiency.
“We are constantly refining and upgrading systems and processes,” Scott said.“This latest round of investment has already seen a 40 percent energy efficiency saving for the injection moulding process alone.
“The carbon footprint of Kestrel products is an incredibly important driver when we look to make improvements. All of our products are manufactured in the UK, and we are committed to giving customers that reassurance that we will continue to improve our environmental credentials.”
Kestrel’s focus on continuous improvement and innovation is aimed at ensuring it not
only meets but exceeds customer expectations, while also boosting its environmental sustainability.
Kestrel’s marketing manager, Alison Ratcliffe, said the strategic investments would
bolster Kestrel’s position as a reliable and forward-thinking leader in the UPVC building products industry and highlighted the immediate benefits to customers.
“This latest investment in manufacturing is part of an ongoing program of changes
and improvements to ensure our customers can rely on Kestrel to deliver the quality
products they need,” Alison said.
“This commitment can only help us deliver an even better service to customers in the future.”
