Kestrel Extra is a range of unusual or unique products that also often provide Installers with time-saving benefits. “The benefit of having a wider leg on the window board is fully realised when a timber window is removed and the plaster beneath is disrupted,” explains Tony Crutcher, Sales and Marketing Director of the Kestrel brand.
“This can sometimes require a secondary trade to make good. Using the wider leg product, however, installers can cover up a greater area of the potential damage. As a fascia, the long leg gives a greater bearing to the soffit as with refurb projects, settlement in houses means the straight line of the fascia moves out of line. The longer leg takes this into account and allows room for the soffit.”
