Cumbria-based Lakeland Aggregates has become the latest supplier of Kestrel’s uPVC roofline and window-line ranges.
Lakeland Aggregates manager Ray Kirkby said: “Our aim is to be a one-stop shop, so we are constantly looking for products that our customers – both trade and consumer – need.
“Kestrel’s window-line, uPVC fascia and roofline products make an easy addition to our stock, which includes everything from bricks and blocks through to roofing materials and drainage.”
The builder’s merchant, based in Ulverston, started in the 1990s initially selling aggregates and building materials.
Since then it has added lines, diversifying into the consumer as well as the building trade market.
Ray added that Kestrel products had already proved popular.
“A major selling point for us is the size of the Kestrel range, including all of the woodgrain finishes, which are very popular with our customers,” he said.
“Our customers are busy at the moment, so our aim is to make their lives easier by offering everything from one source, meaning they don’t have to go to separate suppliers.”
The company is now starting an active marketing campaign within its area to promote the roofline and window-line ranges and attract new customers.
Kestrel business development manager John Gunn said: “Lakeland Aggregates is a well-established merchant and we are delighted that they have chosen Kestrel building products.
“They have a strong track record of listening to their customer needs when bringing new products to the area, and we have every confidence this will be a good partnership for both Kestrel and Lakeland Aggregates.”
The Kestrel range includes more than 800 building products, including uPVC soffits, fascias and uPVC cladding, which are manufactured and distributed from the brand’s headquarters in Scunthorpe.
