The 19-year-old from Scunthorpe has been named Support Services Apprentice of the Year at North Linsey College as part of their celebrations for National Apprenticeship Week.
Customer Service Coordinator Cerys explained, “If you want something, you’ve got to go out and get it both professionally and personally.
“I worked hard throughout my apprenticeship and continue to work hard every day to ensure I provide the best service to our customers that I can.
“This award means so much to me because it really shows that if you really put your mind to something and work hard for it you will see results and succeed.”
Cerys has applied the same determination to her diet and, while many of us added a few pounds in lockdown, she’s managed to shed more than three-and-a-half stone!
Kestrel Customer Services Manager Lee-Anne Harris said, “Cerys came to us in April 2019, and from the beginning her commitment to the role as an employee and student in her apprenticeship was evident.
“Cerys’ work is truly commendable and we appreciate her contribution. Her award for Support Services Apprentice of the year is very well deserved.”
