New Kestrel stockist flies high in Reading

Demand for Kestrel products is going through the roof according to a new stockist in Reading.

UK Roofing and Plastic Supplies has expanded its operations with a new branch in Little John’s Lane, Reading, where it stocks Kestrel’s full range of products.

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic demand for roofline products, particularly fascias and soffits, has increased and the momentum is continuing, according to UK Roofing and Plastic Supplies’ Reading branch manager Peter Hogg.

“We pride ourselves in selling good quality products and despite this challenging climate, we’ve seen business go through the roof,” Peter said. “We sell a wide range of plastic building products, but the demand is particularly strong for fascias and soffit boards.

“We’ve chosen Kestrel because our customers need reliability and strong supplies to help their businesses thrive in these challenging times,” he added.

With its headquarters in France, UK Roofing and Plastic Supplies was founded 40 years ago. Along with the new Reading branch, the company also has a UK base in Slough.

Kestrel sales and marketing director Owen Thorogood said: “We’re delighted to welcome UK Roofing and Plastic Supplies to our growing list of distributors and wish them every success with the new branch in Reading.

“We have seen increased activity on our website during the pandemic, in particular from customers searching for distributors, so this is a particularly positive time to stock Kestrel.”
